Great review Anthony. That is a really well equipped SUV for sure. I've heard a few comments about the transmission and I know that 2 brothers that have a channel ended up returning the one they bought because of the transmission but I'm guessing for the most part it's okay. I still think I'd go with a Pilot personally. We've had 2 days of very nice Spring weather here which has been so nice. I hope that things on your side have been good and that you are doing great!

Ready to move on from my 5 seat Santa Fe and Hyundai threw mea box with a third row. I’m slowly coming to grips with that but I’m reminded of the issues with this 8speed dct that they still haven’t managed to fix after these years in use. Reminds me of the excuses on the Theta engines that they downplayed until the class action lawsuit forced their hand. So to avoid the possibility of being without a car while waiting for a repair/replacement, I’ve decided to go with the hybrid/six speed and lose some horsepower. And as you mentioned, the 21” Pirelli tires will be a big blow to the wallet in about 35-40k miles, so the hybrid makes an improvement by using the same brand, but in a more economical 20” with the same wheel design.

Great review and overall content on your channel. I have a 2023 Calligraphy which shares the same engine and transmission. I agree the DCT transmission has issues and wish Hyundai would have moved away from it. But I have over 20K miles, and have not had any issues. Also i feel comfortable because I have the Warranty to cover if anything goes wrong. I am not a fan of the rear of this 2024, but I think it will sell well because its modern and has a trendy look.

Such a fun car, but the cost of repairs is astronomical! Also, if one is to have a convertible, a garage is a must.

2024 CRV hybrid sport touring. Live in arizona, driving from cottonwood to prescott is a very long hill. There are 2 lanes for slow tractor trailers. I could not get the car to get past like 52-53 mph. If I pushed harder on the gas pedal the rpms shot up to over 7500 rpms It sounded like it was going to blow up. A fiat passed me like I was sitting still and tractor trailers were on my bumper flashing me and blowing their horns. This does not seem right. I am going to go to the dealer on monday and ask them. anyone else experience this kind of lack of acceleration? could the transmission be slipping

I got this as my second SUV and it’s a comfortable five passenger SUV great on gas, very slow. The power delivery is very sloppy, the power delivery it’s just not refined when it sends power, nothing like the Mazda cx5.

Yeah, now the 25 has nothing but hybrid &CVT. Glad I got my 24 when I did. The way the tundra, sequoia, Lexus GX & Tacoma are going. Yeah reliability has gone out the window even with Toyota now. Thank you government mandates.

Hopefully easy and cheap to work on. I predict your going to see ALOT of these on the road for the price, making parts cheaper.

I go with the sonata hybrid limited that has more advanced features and technology over the boring camry

I had a 2020 Hyundai limited hybrid I would so get this car again if needed a car this size.

Stay away from the brand that has short lifespans

Hyundai sonata all the way. toyota camry is poor made and ugly compared with sonata and new toyotas are still outdated .

my wife has a 2020 rav 4 hybrid.. I wouldnt drive one. too clunky over bumps, too rattly after 4 years old..

I have a 24 xse love the car has the 3.5 but it’s 24 should have put a bigger screen in it my 23 Altima I got in 22 came with a 12 .3 inch screen as much as I paid for it they do need to step a few things up

I’m looking at this exact optioned car at 79570, it is now asking 47000 with 31k miles few yrs later, love the dynamic active ride plus everything else, that proper stitching and that 20 way to adjust seats is welcomed and not expected, even tho my S6 was nice at that time, and I’m comparing to my last 4.0 tt Audi S6 features wise, this is so much more, I drove this today and , overall, it is better than my 2016 S6 I sold , that’s big since my v8 was a big powerhouse at 20 mpg tho..this is not as fast but better in many ways..

How much firmer is the ride of the sport tuned suspension from the SE to the LE? Is it way bumpier? Is it more the same than it is different?

2024 Carbon Turbo not only looks great, but is also a very commonly offered as a CPO (previously driven as a curtesy vehicle). As a CPO it is havely discounted and is offered with a warranty extension. Downside is that CPOs are not offered with any Mazda = incentives like 0% interest...however, 2024 CPO CX5 Carbon Turbo is a tough to beat for cash buyers.

That is one really nice ride Anthony. I love the looks both inside and out but especially the seats and the wheels. And don't get me started about the exhaust note..just amazing! I can tell you had fun doing this review 😁It got up to 103 here today and I just stayed in and soaked up the AC. Hope it was nice over and your side and hoping that you are doing great!
